The Alumni of Anjuman Public School , Panchgani is an independent and autonomous body and will work through its officiating members.

The Alumni of Anjuman School Panchganiis a non-profit organization under the Department of Alumni Relations. In this section, you will see how the organization is aligned with the School, as well as the duties of the Executive Members.

The purpose of the Alumni of Anjuman Panchgani Public School (AAPPS) is to maintain, foster and expand the unique and special relationship between the School and its Alumni.

 

  • To connect the existing Alumni with the School and bridge the gap of communication between alumni and students.

  • To mentor and channelize the efforts of the students seeking better opportunities to learn and grow.

  • To promote goodwill and a sense of pride to both Alumni and students.

  • To help and support alumni develop and spread a philanthropic and entrepreneurial mindset among students.

  • To advise and conduct activities that shall motivate and upgrade student skill sets.

  • To work with school assets to suggest new technologies and improvements that shall benchmark industrial expectations.

  • To associate with the school management in the planning and execution of alumni events.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES COMMITTEE

  • Recruit Committee Members

  • Coordinate committee meetings and/or conference calls

  • Make recommendations for procedures to supplement the AAPPS Constitution to be approved by the Executive Committee

  • Periodically review the AAPPS Handbook for outdated information.

  • Prepare amendments for inclusion in the AAPPS Handbook.

  • Prepare a budget to be submitted to Treasurer.

 

FINANCE COMMITTEE

Committee Members Responsibilities:

  • Recruit Committee Members.

  • Coordinate committee meetings and/or conference calls.

  • Prepare an annual budget.

  • Evaluate the dues structure and make recommendations as needed.

  • Review budgets from the various AAPPS committees.

 

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

  • Develop annual AAPPS membership plan and year-end report

  • Coordinate membership efforts with various regions and clubs

AWARDS COMMITTEE

Committee Member Responsibilities:

  • Recruit Committee Members.

  • Coordinate committee meetings and/or conference calls.

  • Develop criteria for awards to be approved by the Executive Committee.

  • Tabulate the results of the awards.

  • Notify winners of awards.

  • Develop an agenda for the awards ceremony.

  • Coordinate logistics of the awards ceremony.

  • Prepare a budget to be submitted to Treasurer.

 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT COMMITTEE

Committee Member Responsibilities:

  • Recruit Committee Members

  • Coordinate committee meetings and/or conference calls.

  • Identify community activities that increase the visibility of AAPPS.

  • Act as liaison between AAPPS and outside community organizations.

  • Prepare a budget to be submitted to Treasurer after approval.

 

WEBSITE/TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

Committee Chair Responsibilities:

  • Recruit Committee Members.

  • Coordinate committee meetings and/or conference calls.

  • Develop a recommendation for AAPPS internet presence.

  • Work with DAR to create enhancements to the existing AAPPS website.

  • Assist Constituent Units in developing an internet presence.

  • Provide training when needed.

  • Prepare a budget to be submitted to Treasurer after approval.
